About this opportunity
A US$140 million Green Climate Fund programme, approved at the Fund's 46th Board meeting, with the Development Bank of Southern Africa as Accredited Entity. It finances green hydrogen, green ammonia and green methanol projects and infrastructure for hard-to-abate industries in Namibia and South Africa, using a blended finance approach that combines public climate funds with private capital. It channels project development funding and construction equity through the SDG Namibia One Fund and the SA-H2 Fund, which together form Climate Investor Three, working with Climate Fund Managers and the Environmental Investment Fund of Namibia.
